Precious knowledge gives us keen insight into the systemic issues in our public schools like high drop out rates, lack of resources/funding for students and buildings, and the need for caring and culturally relevant teachers. The documentary also shows the how beneficial Ethnic Studies teachers/teaching can be to empower students and help them be successful in their education.
